Irrigation Technician

Summary

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of irrigation systems. This includes conducting system startups, performing routine checks and repairs, and ensuring all components operate efficiently and safely. The role supports landscape health and water management practices while maintaining client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Prepares, loads, and secures irrigation equipment and materials.
Cleans and refuels equipment at the end of each day
Installs, inspects, and adjusts sprinkler systems for optimal performance.
Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces faulty components and ensures proper water coverage.
Removes grass and debris that interfere with irrigation equipment.
Conducts site inspections to identify system inefficiencies or damage.
Coordinates with Supervisors to schedule repairs and system improvements.
Maintains safety on all job sites and ensures clean, organized workspaces.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

2–3 years of experience in irrigation systems.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Knowledge of irrigation diagnostics, maintenance, and repair techniques.
Experience identifying pests, diseases, and field-related issues.
Clean driving record and background.
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and reliability.
