Landscape Technician

Summary
The Landscape Technician is responsible for the installation of outdoor landscape projects, including planting, sod installation, grading, and operating landscaping equipment. This hands-on role supports the team in delivering high-quality landscaping services while ensuring adherence to safety and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Loads, unloads, and prepares tools, materials, and equipment for daily projects.
- Installs plants, sod, trees, and mulch according to landscape plans.
- Digs trenches, grades terrain, and prepares sites for planting and irrigation.
- Operates landscaping equipment such as skid steer, mini excavator.
- Assists with daily job documentation and follows Supervisor’s instructions.
- Maintains cleanliness of tools, equipment, and vehicles; refuels machinery daily.
- Supports basic maintenance tasks such as pruning, watering, edging, and fertilizing.
- Follows all safety guidelines and maintains professional grooming standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- 2–3 years of landscaping experience.
- Physically able to lift 30–75 lbs and work in demanding outdoor conditions.
- Proficient in operating standard landscaping machinery.
- Knowledge of plant types, placements, and installation techniques.
- Certifications: CHP, CMT, CLT preferred.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork with clear communication skills.
